In a short sketch (1-2 pages), introduce the reader to this character
Your sketch should subtly reveal the following:
· age
· gender
· key physical attributes
· key mannerisms or body language
Your sketch should also reveal at least one of the following:
· a want or desire a regret
· a past problem or struggle a past triumph or point of pride
· what the character may be hiding phobias/idiosyncrasies
· habits mood/temperament

Brainstorm/Character Map: Tuesday 9/16
Begin 1st Draft: Thursday 9/18
Finish 2nd draft: Thursday, 9/25
Writing Workshop: Thursday, 9/25
Brief movie break: Movie with good character development: Tuesday 9/23 (and continue on Monday 9/29)
Final draft due with rubric at the beginning of the block: Tuesday, September 30th
